Abu Dhabi Summer Sports

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, announced the launch of Abu Dhabi Summer Sports, the largest event of its kind in the region, which aims to motivate Abu Dhabi residents to follow healthy lifestyles, and practice sports and various physical activities in an environment Ideal and suitable for indoor playgrounds during the summer.

The event was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center from 1 July to 31 August 2022, in Hall No. 8 through Hall No. 12, covering a total area of ​​27,000 square meters, distributed over more than 25 tracks and playgrounds equipped according to the latest and best specifications and standards. There were also a number of other accompanying activities for individuals, groups, families and sports fans.

Three fields were allocated for seven-a-side football, two fields for five-a-side football, eight courts for mini-tennis (padel), alongside three basketball courts, and three tennis courts, a badminton court, three volleyball courts, a cricket field, a CrossFit track, and a kilometre-long running track.

The Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2023 was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, covering a total area of ​​18,000 square metres, including more than 25 tracks and stadiums equipped according to the latest and best specifications and standards, in addition to a number of accompanying events designated for individuals, groups, families and sports lovers.

It included two seven-a-side football fields, three five-a-side football fields, eight padel courts, three basketball courts, six badminton courts, three volleyball courts, a cricket court, and a corner dedicated to the Technogym Centre for cardio, fitness exercises, and a kilometre-long running track.

The event also witnessed the organisation of four Champions League tournaments in football, basketball, badminton, and padel, the International Day of Yoga event (21 June) the Aloft Indoor Run, the indoor bicycle race, the Ring the Bell Challenge, and the Emirati Women’s Day event.
