14 teams confirmed for FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023 tournament, organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in cooperation with the International Basketball Federation, will be held at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, from 28-29 October.
FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters is the last Masters of the current season where federations cumulate points for Paris 2024 qualification purposes. The actual cut-off date is November 1, 2023, which means four days right after the Masters in Al Ain.
14 teams have been confirmed to participate, comprising an elite group of the most skilled and prominent 3x3 basketballers from all over the world. The players include Olympic medal winners and the most renowned 3x3 basketball stars. Confirmed for the year’s Final are:

- San Juan (Puerto Rico)
- Lausanne (Switzerland)
- Wuxi (China)
- Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

- Pirot (Serbia)
- Manila Chooks (The Philippines)
- Chonchi (Chile)
- Abu Dhabi (UAE)
His Excellency Suhail Al Arifi, Executive Director of the Events Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, welcomed the participating teams and international stars to Al Ain, which recently won the title of Gulf Tourism Capital 2025. Al Ain is distinguished by its tourism potential, enjoying natural, historical and heritage diversity, world-class hotel facilities and integrated tourism services.
Al Arifi stated: “We wish all the teams a good stay and success during the upcoming championship competitions, and for all the fans to enjoy themselves supporting their favourite teams and players.”
Speaking ahead of his team’s return, Dejan Majstorović from UB, said: “Returning to Abu Dhabi, which witnessed us winning the World Championship finals last year and also winning in 2015 with the Novi Sad team, is a wonderful and special experience. The always excellent organisation and the enthusiasm of the fans are what make it one of my favourite tournaments every year.”
The tournament village, located next to Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, will offer a complete tourist experience for visitors, with food stalls, artistic and musical performances, a warm-up area for players, merchandise and more.
