Cooperation Agreement between the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the “Mazaya” Membership Programme

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the “Mazaya” Membership Programme, one of the leading community privilege schemes. The agreement aims to enhance community participation in both local and international sporting events hosted by Abu Dhabi and to further reinforce the emirate’s position as a global sporting destination.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), and Mr. Alaa Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer of NG9 Holding Group, the principal operator of the “Mazaya” Membership Programme, in the presence of representatives from both parties.

The agreement aims to enhance community participation in the wide range of local and international sports events and activities hosted by the emirate of Abu Dhabi by offering exclusive discounts to holders of the “Mazaya” Membership on all sporting events and activities. This initiative contributes to improving quality of life and promoting a culture of sport and healthy living among the emirate’s residents and visitors.

The agreement also stipulates that employees of ADSC will be granted access to the “Mazaya” Membership Programme, allowing them to benefit from a wide and diverse range of exclusive discounts and promotional offers across various sectors both within the UAE and abroad.

On this occasion, His Excellency Aref Hamad Al Awani, General Secretary of the ADSC said: “This agreement represents a strategic step as part of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council’s ongoing efforts to boost participation and attendance at the sports events and activities it organises, which have become a key pillar of Abu Dhabi’s annual calendar.”

He added: “This agreement reflects our commitment to broadening community participation and promoting sport as part of everyday life, in line with the objectives of the ‘Year of Community 2025’, which focuses on strengthening social bonds and empowering individuals. We are confident that the Mazaya Membership Programme will help create an environment that encourages physical activity and offers greater opportunities for everyone to engage with the local and international sporting scene in Abu Dhabi.”
