Under the patronage of Hamdan Bin Zayed, the third edition of the Al Sila Marine Festival will launch on 6 December

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra region, the third edition of the Al Sila Marine Festival will be launched on the shores of Al Sila City in the Al Dhafra region in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, from 6 to 10 December. It is organised by the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee in Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, in cooperation with the Emirates Heritage Club, with prizes worth AED 4,497,000.
The organising committee held a press conference on Tuesday morning at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, during which it reviewed the preparations for the festival’s launch as well as the value and number of prizes allocated for the competitions in the presence of Salem Al Rumaithi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Director of the Planning and Projects Department in the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee - Abu Dhabi, Abdullah Butti Al Qubaisi, Director of Projects Management at the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee, Majid Al Muhairi, Director of the Marine Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, and a number of boat captains and athletes participating in the festival.
